COMPETENCY-BASED APPROACH IN TEACHING STUDENTS PROGRAMMING

Abstract

The article describes the use of competence approach to teaching programming as part of a school course of computer science. The structural elements of algorithmic competence, which are formed at different stages of training, are highlighted. The gradual formation of algorithmic competence will improve the information and communication competence of the student, and will contribute to its choice of career counseling professions pi ICT sector.
